Paradox:

The waves crash below an ominous sky.
Serenity dwells behind these uncovered eyes.
A callous core leaves me searching for more.
Nowhere to hide, when the answers still abide.

Disconnected from what used to comfort me,
A new foundation and freedom is what I seek.
(When the divine fall).

Swept away by the tides, holding on to the last strand of hope.
Are we just waiting to die or will we find our salvation?

I feel so empty staring into the abyss.
No comfort is found as I reminisce
Of the days I blindly fell into their form.
Now I, alone, desire to brave this storm.
